We stopped in for lunch at The George, located inside the stylish new Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas and it did not disappoint. This isn’t your average sports bar. The George is a unique Sports & Entertainment Lounge that seamlessly blends the classic charm of vintage Vegas with modern flair. It’s the perfect spot where high quality food, drinks, sports, and entertainment converge under one roof. Here, as their slogan goes, anyone can be a George. The name and concept are a clever homage to the tradition of calling generous tippers “a George”, a nod to the face on the one dollar bill. Created by Jonathan Fine, CEO and founder of FINE Entertainment Management, in collaboration with Station Casinos, The George sits next to the STN Sportsbook and offers both an energetic indoor dining room and a sleek, covered patio surrounded by wrap around LED screens. It’s a great space for watching sports, enjoying live entertainment, or hosting private events. Sports betting kiosks are also conveniently located inside the lounge, adding another layer of excitement. Even better, The George is open 24/7. The ambiance was outstanding. From the black and white striped awnings and umbrellas at the entrance to the cozy, stylish indoor/outdoor seating, everything felt thoughtfully curated. We sat in the enclosed patio area, which was cool and comfortable. Large TVs broadcasted a variety of games, and the decor struck a nice balance between sporty and chic, with touches like hanging greenery and modern wall art that added warmth and personality. Service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server accommodated all of our requests with a smile and never missed a beat. We started with the Triple Berry Mojito, which was just okay, refreshing but underwhelming in flavor. However, the food more than made up for it. We ordered a variety of dishes: the BLT, a classic burger, shrimp appetizer, truffle fries, and a salmon salad. Every dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in both quality and consistency. Despite the mediocre mojito, I’m giving The George a solid five out of five stars. The overall experience from the welcoming ambiance and exceptional service to the delicious food was truly fantastic. Whether you’re a Vegas local or just visiting, The George is a great spot for a relaxed but elevated meal with a sports lounge vibe.

I love this place! I introduce as many people as I can to The George, and go back often. The menu has a wide range of dishes, so it's easy for anyone to find something they'll like. I've never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is very cool, especially if you're wanting to watch a game. The customer service is fantastic. I request to be seated at one of Nicole's tables whenever I go because she's quick, courteous, engaging, and makes great recommendations. From the time you walk in you're taken care of, by the hostesses, the waiters/waitresses, managers who make regular rounds, and even the bus boys who don't let dishes pile up on your table. Just a great place to go whether it's with friends or for a business lunch.

My daughter and I visited The George for the first time. It was very nice. The people were great. The service was amazing. Rochelle, Tony, the bar manager, and other bartender was absolutely fantastic. We’re looking forward to going back again. The adult size games were fun. They had a private event and they never missed a beat. I was very impressed with their level of professionalism, ease and flow. Everyone had smiles on their faces. They checked on us and just provided outstanding customer service. I’m such a stickler for customer service because I will be a customer for life and bring more customers or I’ll never return. I’m a lifer. And one more thing - that buffalo chicken dip is THE BEST. My daughter and I usually don’t order something twice but we definitely got another order of that. It was delicious and made just right.

Service was really great from Ashley and had a great meal. The price was also reasonable. The only thing was, it was a little too loud for us.

We came to this place at like 4am with a group of 6 starting after playing slots at the Durango. This restaurant is awesome and the service by Art, Austin, Henry and chef Caesar was just amazing. As soon as we sat down they served us some appetizer truffle fries and we didn’t even ask for em. Chef also gave us some ice cream as dessert. We had the Brussels sprouts, steak and eggs and croissant sandwich. All was delicious. We will be back!

Pleasantly surprised how good this place was I love that atmosphere and the seating how big this place is pretty cool and the service was amazing. I got my food very quick. I was there for Sunday brunch.

This is inside the Durango Casino and Hotel. This is sort of an upscale sports bar and the food was on point. I had the beef short ribs and it was amazing! I could cut through it with a fork and it was so juicy! My colleague indulged in the brownie cheesecake and could not stop talking about it! I will come back!
